The 18th Forum of Creative and Scientific Intelligentsia of the CIS Member States has completed its work
62On May 14-15, 2025, the 18th Forum of Creative and Scientific Intelligentsia of the CIS Member States “The Commonwealth of Independent States: New Horizons of Humanitarian Cooperation” was held in the building of the National Library of Tajikistan in Dushanbe. The delegation of Turkmenistan also participated in this forum.
On May 14, representatives of the CIS member states, including the Vice-Rector of the Maya Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory B. Gutlymuradov, made speeches at the plenary session.
Then, a panel discussion entitled “The Great Contribution of the Peoples of the Commonwealth to Victory” was held. In the speech of the Head of the Science Department of Magtymguly Turkmen State University M.Hojagulyev, the activities of Neutral Turkmenistan in the areas of foreign policy aimed at enhancing and developing cooperation with all countries of the world, including the CIS countries, were outlined. Particular attention was paid to the work being carried out in our country on the initiatives of our Hero Arkadag under the leadership of our Esteemed President to improve the scientific and educational system and strengthen international cooperation. There was also an exchange of views on the issues of the great contribution of the Turkmen people to Victory during the Great Patriotic War.
On May 15, discussion platforms were held, in which representatives of the scientific and educational sphere of Turkmenistan also took part.
On May 16, within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement between the Magtymguly Turkmen State University and the Tajik National University, a working meeting was held with representatives of the partner university.
During the forum, the books of the Hero Arkadag and the respected President, as well as books published for the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Pyragy, were transferred to the collection of the National Library of Tajikistan and the scientific library of the Tajik National University.
