International Scientific and Practical Conference Starts its works at Turkmen State University
46Today, on May 29, an international scientific and practical conference called “The Role of Education, Science and Innovative Technologies in Achieving Sustainable Development Goals” was held at Magtymguly Turkmen State University dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Neutrality of Turkmenistan and Science Day. It was attended by professors and teachers of higher and teacher-oriented secondary vocational schools of our country, foreign higher education institutions, scientists, research workers, postgraduate students and doctoral students of scientific institutes of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and the International Science and Technology Park.
At the international scientific and practical conference, about 310 professors and teachers and scientists from more than 80 higher education institutions and research institutes of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Italy, the Republic of Turkiye, the People’s Republic of China, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Azerbaijan, Georgia, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Bangladesh and Turkmenistan had the opportunity to discuss the achievements and results of their research in their fields.
At the opening ceremony of the international conference, speakers noted that in recent years, owing to the tireless efforts of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, and the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, cooperation between Neutral Turkmenistan and the world's countries in the field of science and education has been steadily developing. It was noted that the work carried out by Neutral Turkmenistan in various years in the field of education, science and technology, which forms a solid foundation for cooperation with strategic partner countries, is of historical importance.
Turkmen and foreign scientists, professors and teachers spoke in detail about the scientific and research work carried out in higher educational institutions, scientific and educational centers, and the role of their production links in ensuring sustainable socio-economic development.
The participants of the conference proudly noted that the principles of friendship and brotherhood continue in the new historical period thanks to the efforts of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, and the President of Turkmenistan.
Tomorrow, on May 30, the work of the international scientific and practical conference will be devoted to the topics “Development of bio-chemical and nanotechnologies and their achievements in industry, environmental protection. Modern methods of improving teaching of subjects related to natural sciences”, “Scientific research in mathematics, physics and astronomy. Digital education, information systems and computer technologies, cyber security and the introduction of artificial intelligence into the economy”, “The Humanities: modern development of history, sociology, philosophy, psychology and pedagogy, legal sciences” and “Problems of philology: methods of studying and teaching Turkmen and foreign languages, literature. Theory and practice of translation”. In those sections, professors, teachers, scientists, research workers, doctoral students and postgraduates will make scientific reports and exchange views on cultural and humanitarian areas.
In parallel with the international scientific and practical conference, an exhibition of books rich in scientific information by our Hero-Arkadag, our Arkadagly Hero Serdar, monographs of professors, teachers, scientists, books, manuals, projects reflecting the modern developments of our country, and works of national applied and decorative art was organized in the hall of Magtymguly Turkmen State University. The music performed by the dutar players' group of the university's "Bagtyyarlyk Owazlary" cultural center made a unique impression on the participants of the exhibition. At the end of the plenary session of the international conference, the participants wished the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, and Arkadagly Hero Serdar sound health, long life, and the success in their work for the benefit of the country and humanity, for their tireless work in developing cooperation in the field of science, education, and technology, and for the progress of modern Turkmen society.
