Meetings on Academic and Media Cooperation Held in Canada
12From August 10 to 18, the Head of the Department of Journalism, H. Yuvshanov, as part of the delegation of Turkmenistan, took part in meetings held in Toronto, Canada, dedicated to strengthening cooperation between relevant government institutions and higher education establishments of our country. The discussions focused on artificial intelligence, creative industries and innovation.
A separate meeting was held with the leadership of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC). The agenda included modern approaches to teaching journalism, media and communications, as well as issues of management, digital technologies and the use of artificial intelligence. Particular attention was given to fostering and expanding international partnerships in these fields.
