Festive event at the Turkmen State University
55On May 2, Magtymguly Turkmen State University, jointly with the Cultural Department of the Berkararlyk Etrap Hakimlik of Ashgabat, held a festive event entitled “Our path comes from our ancestors and your eternal paths are bright, dear Motherland” dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust and the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
The event was attended by war and labor veterans, honored elders, grandmothers, professors, teachers and students of Magtymguly Turkmen State University. The speeches made here proudly underlined the courage and unparalleled bravery shown by thousands of Turkmen youth on the battlefields during the Great Patriotic War. The speakers spoke eloquently about the courage of Berdimuhamet Annayev, the grandfather of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, our Hero Arkadag.
The theatrical performance “The Heroes Glorify the Motherland” performed by the students added a bright touch to the event.
At the end of the festive event, its participants congratulated our National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, and Arkadagly Hero Serdar, our brave war and labor veterans, and our compatriots who worked hard in the rear, on the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory Day.
