IV International Chemistry Olympiad
22Dear Colleagues and Students,
We are pleased to invite you to participate in the IV International Chemistry Olympiad among university students, organized by Magtymguly Turkmen State University.
The Olympiad (in-person participation) will be held on October 15–17, 2025, in Ashgabat.
The official languages of the Olympiad: Turkmen, Russian and English.
The Olympiad will be conducted as an individual competition in two categories:
• Category A – includes students majoring in chemistry, as well as students of any specialty enrolled in Bachelor’s programs (Years I-IV) or Specialist programs (Years I-V);
• Category B – includes students not majoring in chemistry.
The Olympiad will be held in one stage:
Category A – written examination;
Category B – test format.
For each category, the number of participants from each invited higher education institution must not exceed four students (Bachelor’s and Specialist degrees) and one team leader (format 4+1).
The overall results will be evaluated based on individual performance. Winners will be awarded diplomas and medals.
Visa expenses, accommodation at the comfortable dormitory of Magtymguly Turkmen State University, meals and local transportation within Ashgabat will be covered by the host institution. Travel to and from Ashgabat, as well as (if requested) hotel accommodation, shall be borne by the sending institution.
To participate in the Olympiad, please send an official letter from your higher education institution indicating the team composition, along with a completed registration form, personal record form and a copy of the passport to: olimptsu@gmail.com
