Lecture at Magtymguly Turkmen State University with the participation of the UAE Ambassador
31Today, on November 10, a lecture “Cooperation between Turkmenistan and the United Arab Emirates for Solidarity and Harmonious Coexistence” was conducted by Ahmed Alhai Al Hameli, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to Turkmenistan, at Magtymguly Turkmen State University on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan, the International Year of Peace and Trust, and the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the United Arab Emirates.
The lecture was attended by professors, teachers, students of Magtymguly Turkmen State University, and representatives of the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Turkmenistan.
The ambassador noted during the lecture that for many years the two countries have been cooperating extensively in the socio-economic, cultural, scientific and educational fields, and that the visits of the Heads of the two friendly states have been effective and are being further developed strategically.
The Ambassador also emphasized the historical significance of the permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan, emphasizing that the initiatives put forward play a significant role in developing peace, trust, and friendly relations in the region and the world. During the meeting, questions and answers were exchanged regarding future areas of cooperation between permanently Neutral Turkmenistan and the United Arab Emirates, including work to be carried out in the fields of education and science.
